Milan's "Inter" announced on their official Facebook account that an agreement has been reached with Munich's "Bayern" club for Xherdan Shaqiri's move to the fashion capital's team.
The 23-year-old Swiss player is expected to defend the honor of the "Nerazzurri" team at least until the end of the season, with Inter paying 2 million euros for the loan. It is reported that after the season, the Italians will have the opportunity to acquire all rights to the winger for 12 million euros.
"An agreement has been reached with Bayern regarding Xherdan Shaqiri's arrival at Inter," announced the official television channel of the team from Milan.
It is interesting to note that several English Premier League giants, including Manchester United and Liverpool, were also interested in signing X.Shaqiri. However, the Bavarians decided to loan the Swiss player to Inter for at least six months.
In Roberto Mancini's team, Shaqiri will not be the first January purchase, as recently the team also welcomed Arsenal's Lucas Podolski on a loan agreement.
During this season, X.Shaqiri played 15 matches for the German champions and scored two goals.
