"Inter" and "Milan" clubs agreed on the construction of the new "San Siro" stadium

It seems that the history of the legendary "San Siro" stadium will end in 2022 - both Milan clubs have decided to bring about changes. Representatives of "Inter" and "Milan" clubs confirmed that the current "San Siro" will be demolished and a new and modern stadium will be built in its place. It is expected that the project will be implemented in 2022. "We will have a new 'San Siro' stadium, which will be built in the same area. The old one will be demolished and additional buildings will be installed in its place," said Milan club president Paolo Scaroni. Information about the new stadium was also confirmed by Inter's CEO Alessandro Antonello: "Yes, this is completely true." The clubs have agreed on the project, the only person who could obstruct it is Milan mayor Beppe Sala. However, it is believed that he will approve these constructions in the city. According to various sources, the construction of the new "San Siro" stadium will cost around 700 million euros.
