Two of the most famous Milan clubs are preparing for the construction of new football stadiums.
Representatives of AC Milan and Inter previously confirmed that the current San Siro will be demolished and replaced by a new and modern stadium. It is expected that the project will be completed by 2022.
Both clubs presented two projects on Thursday, prepared by the "Manica-CMR" and "Populous" architectural teams. The Milan clubs now have to decide which of the projects is most dear to their hearts.
The "Populous" company has designed a stadium project with a capacity of 60-65 thousand seats.
In the current San Siro stadium area, there are plans to create a "green" zone and build new buildings.
The total project costs are estimated at 1.2 billion euros.
