Milan's "Inter" club decided to establish a team museum to celebrate its 110th anniversary.
The "Serie A" team announced the first laureates, who were chosen by thousands of fans through public voting.
They are: - goalkeeper Walter Zenga, who led the team to triumph in the 1988/1989 Italian championship. - midfielder and defender Javier Zanetti, who defended the club's colors for almost 20 years and won the UEFA Champions League. - defender Lothar Matthaus, who won the 1988/1989 local championship with the club. - forward Ronaldo, who became the world's most expensive player in 1997 ($27 million), but injuries prevented him from achieving even better results in Italy.
