Romelu Lukaku's return to Milan's "Inter" is not a bed of roses so far.
The Belgian played his last match for "Nerazzurri" a month and a half ago - in August, when they were beaten 3-1 by "Lazio" at home.
Since then, R. Lukaku has been struggling with a thigh injury.
Furthermore, "Daily Mail Sport" reports that the "Inter" coaches are surprised by the poor physical form of the 29-year-old striker. According to the newspaper, he is currently a shadow of himself compared to the player who shone in the victorious 2020-21 season playing for "Inter".
Currently, the leaders of the Milan club are doubting whether it is worth redeeming R. Lukaku from the "Chelsea" team after the season.
His previous season at "Chelsea" was unsuccessful, but in the 2020-21 Serie A championship season, the striker scored 24 goals and made 11 assists.
