Milano "Inter" sport director Piero Ausilio confirmed that "Manchester United" club is interested in the possibility of acquiring 28-year-old Ivan Perišić.
Recently, there have been rumors in the media that the "Red Devils" are seriously interested in the Croatian. According to some sources, "Man Utd" is willing to pay up to 35 million pounds for the winger, but "Inter" wants 10 million more.
"Inter" sport director claims that the fashion capital team is not inclined to lose one of their leaders, but does not rule out the possibility of Perišić leaving.
"We have not received any official offer, but the interest of 'Man Utd' in Ivan is there," Ausilio revealed. "We want to further improve our squad, so our plans do not only involve the possibility of selling something."
"We have a list of important players who may leave this summer. If we decide to sell Ivan Perišić, we need to carefully consider whether it would be the best decision for 'Inter' club.
"We have a great team - better than those teams that finished above us. We do not need many new purchases. We will definitely participate in the transfer window, but everything will depend on our new coach," added the "Inter" director.
Ivan Perišić, a target for "Man Utd", played 41 matches for "Inter" this season, scoring 10 goals and providing as many assists.
