"Inter" defeated "Sampdoria" and rose to the top of "Serie A" (VIDEO)

While in other countries fights for trophies are taking place in the evening, the 10th round of national championships started in Italy. In the first match, held at "San Siro", Milan's "Inter" faced Genoa's "Sampdoria". Even though the guests did not allow the favorites "nerazzurri" to dominate, the latter made better use of the opportunities they created. The "Fashion Capital" football players were already brought forward by Milan Škriniar in the 18th minute, when he headed the ball into the net after Matias Vecino's corner kick raised by Antonio Candreva. While "Inter" briefly took initiative while leading, it all ended with captain Mauro Icardi scoring after a mistake by Matias Silvestre. The Argentine could have scored again in the 40th minute, but then hit the crossbar. Icardi added a double to his account after the break when he was accurately assisted by Ivan Perišić. With the result becoming 3-0, the winner of the duel had become clear. Nevertheless, the "Sampdoria" players still managed to bring panic to the opponents. If Dawid Kownacki's goal in the 64th minute seemed to change nothing at first glance, Fabio Quagliarella's goal at the end of the second half allowed the visitors to think about equalizing. Ultimately, however, in front of their own fans, the "Inter" club triumphed, which at least until tomorrow rose to the top of the league table. Luciano Spalletti's team surpassed "Napoli" away and will face "Genoa". Result: "Inter" 3 - 2 "Sampdoria" [1-0] 18' Milan Škriniar [2-0] 32' Mauro Icardi [3-0] 55' Mauro Icardi [3-1] 64' Dawid Kownacki [3-2] 85' Fabio Quagliarella
