Milan's "Inter" club representatives had an official meeting with "Manchester United" management on Thursday regarding Romelu Lukaku.
The fashion capital team's sporting director Piero Ausilio confirmed that an offer was made to "Red Devils" during the meeting. R. Lukaku himself has already decided to leave "Man Utd," and the English are hoping to earn the largest possible amount of money from him.
According to "Sky Sports," "Man Utd" has valued the Belgian at £75 million. "Inter" is still trying to negotiate and borrow the player with the option to later buy out his contract.
Speaking briefly with journalists at the airport, P. Ausilio did not disclose what their new offer was.
"We had a meeting with 'Man Utd' about Lukaku," immediately said the sporting director. "These were official negotiations between two important clubs. We will see how everything ends."
When asked if R. Lukaku is being sought by Antonio Conte's request, P. Ausilio said: "All the players we are following have been discussed with Conte. We want to meet the coach's requests with certain financial criteria."
