Milan's "Inter" team is leading the Serie A championship. Yesterday, the title-defending team crushed "Salernitana" 5-0 and surpassed the milestone of 100 goals scored over the calendar year. This has placed Milan's team in the history books, improving on their record from 1950 (99 goals). "Inter" is only the fourth Italian club to reach the century mark during this period. The feat was previously achieved twice by "Milan" (105 and 120), "Torino" (111 and 114), and "Juventus" (100). All of these achievements were recorded in the middle of the last century.
