"Inter" envies competitors' defence

Last summer, attracted by the safe of Florentina's "Fiorentina" club Borja Valero and Matias Vecino, Milan's "Inter" now aimed for Roma's player Kevin Strootman, who is currently playing in the ranks of the club, announced the Italian newspaper "Gazzetta dello Sport". "Nerazzurri" believe that the acquisition of this 28-year-old footballer will be facilitated by the almost agreed transfer of Roma's "Lazio" defender Stefano de Vrij, with whom Strootman plays for the Netherlands national team. However, the team from the "fashion capital" does not want to pay the entire 32 million euros requested by "giallorossi", so they will seek to reduce it by offering Joao Mario or Marcelo Brozovic in exchange. Strootman played 34 matches this season in all tournaments and scored one goal and provided one assist.
