"Inter" hosted "Hellas" and continues to climb on the heels of "Napoli" (VIDEO)

Coach Luciano Spalletti recently said that Milan's "Inter" can triumph in the Italian championship, and his students showed their abilities last night on the field. They met Verona's "Hellas" in the last match of the 11th round.

It wasn't easy at the opponents' fortress, though. "Nerazzurri" clearly outplayed the opponents in the most important statistical categories, but only managed to win 2-1.

The first goal for the guests came towards the end of the first half after a great pass from Antonio Candreva, which was scored by Borja Valero. However, almost an hour after goalkeeper Samir Handanovič's mistake against Alessio Cerci, a penalty was awarded. Giampaolo Pazzini then equalized the match.

Nevertheless, the balance did not last long - in the 67th minute, Ivan Perišić scored again with a long shot, giving the "Inter" players the lead. As it later became clear, the Croatian's shot was crucial.

Thanks to him, the eleven from the "fashion capital" continues to occupy the second place on the tournament table and leads "Juventus" from Turin, the winner of "Serie A" last year, in points.

Result:

"Hellas" 1 - 2 "Inter" [0-1] 36' Borja Valero [1-1] 59' Giampaolo Pazzini (penalty) [1-2] 67' Ivan Perišić
