Milan's "Inter" team had expressed interest in Real Madrid star Luka Modric, but the Croatian will no longer move to the fashion capital - the player transfer window in Italy has already closed.
However, the "royal" club turned to FIFA, as they believed "Inter" illegally tempted the Croatian. This situation was decided to be commented on by La Liga President Javier Tebas.
J. Tebas stated in the press that "Inter" was willing to pay a lot of money to the Croatian, even though they don't have it.
Shortly after such and similar remarks directed at "Inter", the Milan team announced that they would take legal action against the La Liga president's comments in the press.
This issue was also reported by Serie A.
"We are surprised by the statements of La Liga president Javier Tebas. These comments were made without any knowledge, but they damaged the reputation and made us question the honor of two Italian clubs and the league," - wrote in a statement.
J. Tebas criticized not only "Inter" in his comments, but also Turin's "Juventus", Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City.
