"Inter" received a penalty for racist chants against K. Koulibaly

Milan's "Inter" fans' behavior at the match against "Napoli" will strongly affect the club financially.

The Italian Football Federation issued an official statement, stating that the "Inter" team will have to play their next two home matches at an empty "San Siro" stadium.

The main "Inter" fan group - "Curva Norda" - received an even stricter punishment: "Napoli" fans will not be allowed to attend the away match until February 3rd due to their uncensored chants.

"Inter" fans made headlines worldwide after repeatedly insulting "Napoli" defender Kalidou Koulibaly with racist chants.

The football player, who left the match early due to a red card, also could not escape punishment - he was suspended for the next two matches.

The Senegalese player will miss one match due to five yellow cards, and another due to sarcastic applause towards the match referee.

"Napoli" captain Lorenzo Insigne received the same punishment. He received a straight red card at the end of the match, when he used disrespectful language towards the referee. He will also have to pay a 10,000 euro fine.

"Inter" will play without their fans against "Benevento" and "Sassuolo" clubs.
