The 11th round matches on Saturday in the A League started with a meeting of outsiders at the Vilnius "Žalgiris" stadium - the absolute outsider Visaginas "Interas" clashed with "Šilutė". The first season victory with a crushing advantage was also won by the "Interas" footballers who equalized points with their opponents.

The visitors had their first serious opportunity to score in the 12th minute - after a pass from the side, the captain of "Šilutė," Marius Bezykornovas, received the ball free next to the goal, but his shot was quickly saved by the goalkeeper Audrius Dilys.
Later, Vygantas Zubavičius shot towards the goal, but A. Dilys was on the spot again, and in the middle of the half the hosts unsuccessfully attacked the opponents' goal a couple of times - after a header pass from Denis Gordej, Povilas Krasnovskis struck over the goal, and Rinaldo weakly struck from the penalty area.
In the 34th minute, after "Šilutė" took a penalty shot, Akaki Chubutia had a good chance from a free-kick in the distance, but the Georgian missed the goal with his head. Not scoring there, scoring here - soon a penalty was given on the other side of the field, and although the visitors managed to resist the first attempt, Rinaldo was the first to rush to the rebound and struck precisely into the corner of the goal guarded by Laurynas Vertelis.
At the start of the second half, the players from Šilutė had another chance to score, but after playing a "wall" with his teammate and infiltrating the penalty area, V. Zubavičius saw A. Dilys rushing towards him and shot wide. "Interas" again took advantage of the opponents' mistake and in the 54th minute quickly took a penalty shot catching the visitors unprepared - after the substitution appeared on the field, Nerijus Astrauskas found himself alone against the goalkeeper and increased the lead of Visaginas despite the intense protests of "Šilutė's" coach Eugenijus Riabovas.
The hosts picked up the pace and a few minutes after a precise combination between P. Krasnovskis and N. Astrauskas, Rinaldo struck towards the goal, but both his first and subsequent shots after a few moments were saved by L. Vertelis. "Šilutė" began to visit the opponents' half more frequently, but did not create any serious danger near the "Interas" goal - Nerijus Valskis shot weakly towards the goal, Ivan Brezina hit over the goal from 20 meters.
With six minutes remaining until the end of the match, "Interas" secured their victory. Taking advantage of a long pass, N. Astrauskas found himself alone against the visitors' goalkeeper L. Vertelis and defender A. Chubutija, and scored a goal into the net.
Injured from the collision, A. Chubutija was unable to continue the match and was replaced - Vladas Petkevičius ran onto the field in his place, and immediately had a chance to score a consolation goal, but missed the goal from about 8 meters. "Interas" kept their goal "dry" and achieved their first victory of the season.
