On Monday evening, another national team was revealed, participating in next year's European Championship.
The footballers of the Irish national team clashed with the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in front of their spectators. The Irish managed to achieve victory and qualify for the European Championship taking place in France.
The first match in Bosnia's stronghold ended in a 1-1 draw, so with a total score of 3-1, the Irish secured their place in next year's tournament.
Both golden goals for the winners were scored by striker Jonathan Walters. The latter put the Irish ahead from the penalty spot in the 24th minute and sealed the deal in the 70th minute of the match.
For Ireland, the 2016 European Championship will be the third in the country's football history. The last time the Irish played in this championship was in 2012, but they finished last in their group.
