Isco apologized to Real fans

Isco shone on Saturday in Seville against his former club Real Madrid.

His assist and goal secured a victory for Real Betis (2:1) against the royal club.

Isco celebrated his goal without hiding his emotions, and later apologized on social media: "What did I do after celebrating the goal? I apologized to the Real fans, putting my hands together."

I will always be grateful to Real Madrid for helping me fulfill all my dreams."

After the match, the 33-year-old midfielder also commented on the referees' work: "Every team complains about the referees' decisions. This is the only thing about football that annoys me – the talk about referees."
