Madrird „Real“ defender Isco admitted that, although he feels flattered by it, constant comparisons with "Barcelona" star Andres Iniesta have already become tiresome.
The 22-year-old footballer, who arrived at the "royal" club from "Malaga" in 2013, showcases a similar style of play on the field, but is determined to earn a good reputation on his own.
"For everything he has achieved, it is a great honor for me to be compared to Iniesta," - Isco said at a press conference.
"However, as I have said before, I do not like such comparisons. Andres is Andres, and I am Isco. I am a different person and a different player."
"Both in the club and in the national team, I want to write my own name in history."
The UEFA Champions League winner also added that he gets along well with Iniesta and enjoys playing together in the national team.
