Former "Juventus" leaders - hard times.
The Turin club was fined 15 points, and we will not see the former team leaders in football matters in the near future.
The biggest punishment fell on former "Juventus" sporting director Fabio Paratici, who is banned from Italian football for 2.5 years. He is currently the sporting director of "Tottenham", but his position is also hanging by a thread.
Former club president Andrea Agnelli and general manager Maurizio Arrivabene were handed 2-year bans, the latter who previously led the Formula-1 "Ferrari" team.
Former "Juventus" director Federico Cherubini received a 1.4-year ban from participating in football matters, while team vice president Pavel Nedved received an 8-month ban.
P. Nedved, Agnelli, and Arrivabene resigned in November. Paratici moved to "Tottenham" in the summer of 2021.
The reasons for these penalties are serious violations related to accounting manipulations during the coronavirus period.
