The Madrid "Real" team was hit by a scandal. The published phrases of the team's president Florentino Perez about former club stars were revealed: he called the Spanish forward Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Jose Mourinho "idiots", goalkeeper Iker Casillas - a big mistake, and forward Raul - a destroyer of team atmosphere. The Royal team quickly started to smooth out the scandal and explained that these phrases were "taken out of context". Meanwhile, reports in the Spanish media also mentioned the demands for compensation made by journalist José Antonio Abellan, who had these recordings. The Spanish journalist asked for no less than €10 million for the destruction of audio recordings, but after not receiving the money, he decided to carry out his threats.
