London's "Arsenal" continues to try to keep their attacking leader Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in their ranks. Although it was announced that the Gabonese striker was not inclined to extend his contract with the "Gunners", team coach Mikel Arteta recently confirmed that the 31-year-old forward would like to continue defending the honor of "Arsenal". The current striker's contract expires next summer, and ESPN reports that P. Aubameyang would like to receive a new three-year contract and earn at least £250,000 per week. The Gabonese striker arrived at "Arsenal" in January 2018 and has already played 101 matches for the team, scoring 63 goals.
