Italian championship: Rome clubs started differently (VIDEO)

Yesterday evening the first matches of the season were played in the "Serie A" championship. The first to enter the battle in Verona were last year's vice-champion "Roma" and the home team "Hellas". Although the visitors controlled their opponents and the ball for up to 69 percent of the playing time, they failed to achieve a positive result. The first goal of the match fell into the capital team's net when Boško Jankovičius scored after just over an hour of play. Alessandro Florenzi scored a precise strike after a pass from newcomer Edin Džeko in the ranks of Rudi Garcia's apprentices, but the "giallorossi" could no longer overturn the result. In the other match, Rome's "Lazio" beat "Bologna" coming from "Serie B" at home. The team that finished third last year started threatening the opponents' goal from the start of the match, and after goals from Lucas Biglia and Ricardo Kishna, the score was 2-0 just before the end of the first half. True, the visitors reduced the deficit in the 43rd minute, but "Lazio" maintained their lead until the final whistle of the referee. Results: "Hellas" 1 - 1 "Roma" [1-0] 61' Boško Jankovičius [1-1] 66' Alessandro Florenzi "Lazio" 2 - 1 "Bologna" [1-0] 17' Lucas Biglia [2-0] 23' Ricardo Kishna [2-1] 43' Matteo Mancosu
