In the quarterfinals of the Italian Cup, "Juventus" defeated "Sassuolo" at home after a tough battle with a score of 2:1. The hosts started off wonderfully. In the 3rd minute, the ball bounced off Paulo Dybala's feet and he sent it to the goal. The score became 1:0. However, "Sassuolo" managed to equalize the score in the middle of the first half. Hamed Junior Traore demonstrated incredible individual skill. The defender from the Ivory Coast deceived several "Juventus" defenders and sent the ball into the top corner of the goal with a powerful shot. In the second half, Massimiliano Allegri's players took the initiative. They were able to turn it into a goal at the very end of the match. In the 88th minute, Dusan Vlahovic performed a great solo run and finished it with a shot into the goal. The shot ball was redirected into their own goal by "Sassuolo" defender Ruan, and the score became 2:1. The visitors failed to equalize the score once again and had to admit a painful defeat.
