Milan
"Milan" became the Champions League champion for the first time in 1963, defeating Portugal's "Benfica" in the final with a score of 2:1. In total, the club has won the Champions League 7 times and played in the final 4 more times. "Milan" is one of the most successful clubs in Champions League history, along with other famous European football clubs. One of the most memorable moments is the 2003 final when "Milan" faced another Italian club "Juventus" and won after a penalty shootout. The last time "Milan" won the Champions League was in 2007, defeating England's "Liverpool" in the final. Additionally, "Milan" is known for its strong defense and effective attacking strategy, which resulted in many important victories in international competitions.
Inter
"Inter" has won the Champions League three times and also finished second three times in the final. The first victory came in 1964 when they defeated "Real Madrid" in the final with a score of 3:1. The next year, "Inter" triumphed again, this time beating "Benfica" in the final. The third time "Inter" won the Champions League was in 2010, when they defeated "Bayern Munich" in the final 2:0, with both goals scored by Diego Milito. This victory was part of an historic treble, as "Inter" won Serie A and the Italian Cup in the same season. In 2023, "Inter" reached the Champions League final but lost to "Manchester City." "Inter" is one of the few clubs to have won the Champions League three times (in 1964 and 1965, and again in 2010). The club is also known for its defensive style and disciplined tactics, which have led to success in international competitions.
Juventus
"Juventus" has reached the Champions League final nine times. The club became the European Cup winners in 1985, defeating England's "Liverpool" in the final with a score of 1:0. In 1996, "Juventus" triumphed again in the Champions League, this time defeating the Netherlands' "Ajax" after a penalty shootout. "Juventus" is also known for its strong defense and technically skilled players, who have helped achieve high results in European football. However, despite successful performances, the club often faces difficulties in Champions League finals, losing in the majority of them.
