Italians who introduced VAR technology just before the new "Serie A" season were disappointed.
As referee representative Nicola Rizzoli said, they did not expect such poor results.
"I thought that mistakes would be eliminated from the game, but VAR technology has already poorly evaluated 16-18 episodes.
The innovations do not provide immunity to bad decisions, it is impossible. We are trying to at least reduce the number of mistakes.
We need to rely on VAR in the most important situations.
We need to follow a very strict protocol to prevent unforeseen situations," N.Rizzoli said.
