"Barcelona" president Jose Maria Bartomeu says that Aleix Vidal, arriving from "Sevilla," will not be the only purchase for the club this summer.
The "Barca" leader, preparing for the fight for re-election to his current position, is believed to have set his sights on Madrid's "Atletico" midfielder Arda Turan.
However, the possibility of acquiring the Turk is slim, but Bartomeu still promises the newcomer.
"For the next season, we have a very reliable team, but another footballer will join the team along with Aleix Vidal," the president told Marca.
"The election process has not paralyzed the club, and the sporting plans for Luis Enrique are being drawn up as usual. The coach knows what we need, and we will try to fulfill it," he added.
However, Bartomeu has little chance of continuing his presidency. The scandal over the controversial purchase of Neymar is likely to be his downfall, as well as the fact that under the leadership of his main rival Joan Laporta, the club was the most successful in its history.
