"Barcelona" president Josep Maria Bartomeu denied rumors in the media that the club is considering the possibility of bringing back the most expensive football player on the planet, Neymar.
In Catalan media, reports recently surfaced that Neymar, who is not very satisfied with life in Paris, would like to return to "Barça". It seems that even if the Brazilian expresses a desire, serious measures to bring him back will not be taken.
"Neymar left and we do not expect him to return to Barcelona. There are no plans to try to bring him back," said the Barcelona chief on "El Matí de Catalunya" radio.
Asked about the upcoming actions in the players' transfer window, J. Bartomeu replied: "We have not planned any moves for this January. Until we are informed that the coach needs something, we will not have any intentions to make transfers in the winter window."
"This season we have a smaller squad because there are many Barcelona B players in it. However, they send us strong signals that they are ready for the first team role," added the Catalan.
Just a reminder, "Barcelona" sold Neymar to PSG in 2017 for 222 million euros.
