J. Bellinghamas: "We can be satisfied with our performance

The England national team started EURO 2024 with a victory on Sunday, defeating Serbia 1-0 in the first match.

Although the beginning of the match was successful for the English, Serbians were much more active in the second half and had chances to equalize.

Jude Bellingham, the scorer of England's only goal, said after the win that the team had to show character, but was pleased with the first game.

"The first half showed that we have potential in attack, and the second - that we can defend against any team.

We had to suffer in defense, but it allows us to win the game by scoring just one goal.

I think we can be satisfied with our performance," said J. Bellingham.
