"Bayern" Munich confirmed that the club's defender Juan Bernat suffered an injury and more detailed tests will be performed on him on Monday.
The Spaniard unsuccessfully went for the ball against "Milan" newcomer Franck Kessie and could not continue friendly match.
The Germans lost 4-0 and the 24-year-old footballer later left the stadium with crutches.
"He can no longer continue the Audi summer tour and will fly to Munich tomorrow. Tests will be performed on him on Monday," said coach Carlo Ancelotti after the match.
Bernat injured his ligaments, which means he will definitely have to miss the remaining part of the preparation season. Last year in the Bundesliga, he played 18 matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
