Munich's "Bayern" will have to play without Jerome Boateng for at least a week, who suffered a rib injury in Friday's match.
The German national team player had to leave the field after 55 minutes, but that did not prevent his team from winning 2:1 against "Hamburg".
“Jerome Boateng may miss the next Bayern match against Hoffenheim on January 31. The center-back suffered a rib injury in the 2:1 win against "Hamburg" and was substituted in the 55th minute. More detailed examinations will be conducted over the weekend,” the club's statement said.
Boateng recently extended his contract with Bayern until 2021.
