The English newspaper "Daily Mail" announces that "Stoke City" will extend its contract with goalkeeper Jack Butland in the near future.
The 23-year-old Englishman, who has impressed with his excellent performance this year, has already attracted the attention of "Liverpool" and "Everton" from the same city.
Butland has been the mainstay of the "Potters" defense this season, keeping clean sheets in 10 out of 30 "Premier League" matches.
The footballer, who recently celebrated his birthday, used to be loaned out to lower league teams, but following Asmir Begović's departure, he has become the first-choice goalkeeper.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes' decision has paid off, and Butland is now considered one of the most improved players this season.
