J. Butland's 2016 European Championship ended before it even started

At the England national team camp - a loss. Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland, who defends the goal, will not only have to miss the remaining part of the Premier League season due to injury, but also the 2016 European Championship. The 23-year-old goalkeeper broke his ankle during a friendly match against the German national team and will not be able to return to the field for at least three months. However, J. Butland was not assigned the role of first-choice goalkeeper in the England national team. Currently, Joe Hart is still recovering from injury and will likely be Roy Hodgson's first choice in France. Manchester City goalkeeper Fraser Forster will also support Hart, with Tom Heaton replacing Butland.
