Titular Brazilian Julio Cesar is preparing to end his professional career.
The Lisbon team "Benfica" informed that the 38-year-old goalkeeper has decided to leave the team and terminate the contract that was valid until the end of the season.
Cesar, who lost the role of the main player in the Portuguese team, is likely to announce his final decision at the beginning of next year.
The peak of his career as a goalkeeper was reached between 2005-2012, when he played over 300 matches for Milan's "Inter" club and won five "Scudetto" titles as well as triumphed in the UEFA Champions League.
He has represented the Brazilian national team 87 times.
