J. Carragher: "Liverpool" club lacks a player like M. Reus

Former long-time "Liverpool" player and captain Jamie Carragher believes that the "Reds" lack a top-class forward in their squad. In January, "Liverpool" was close to signing a player of similar style, but Donetsk's "Shakhtar" sold Alex Teixeira to the Chinese. Carragher is convinced that former protege of coach Jurgen Klopp, Marco Reus, would be ideal for the team. "The team lacks that player who would be exceptional in attack, individually stronger than others," said the former defender. "I would love to see Marco Reus on the team. He would fit perfectly with the 'Liverpool' squad." "If we add another forward and a defensive midfielder, then we can start thinking about something serious," added the former English footballer. The media has linked Marco Reus with "Liverpool" several times already.
