J. Carragher offers "Liverpool" team to pay attention to J. Maddison

Philippe Coutinho was linked with a return to Liverpool this summer, but the footballer moved from Barcelona to Bayern Munich instead. The former desire to bring back the Brazilian was confirmed by the team's coach Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher said on Sky Sports that if P. Coutinho cannot be acquired, Liverpool should try to attract Leicester City's attacking midfielder James Maddison.

"I think Maddison is a player not playing at the big clubs, which Liverpool should pay attention to. People talked about a possible return of Coutinho, but he went to Bayern. If we look at Premier League players, Maddison would definitely cost a lot of money, but Liverpool must consider his candidacy if they want to take another step forward," Carragher said.

Last season, J. Maddison played 38 matches for Leicester, scoring 7 goals and providing as many assists.
