J. Carragher: why "Everton" instead of "City" with 115 offenses?

„Everton“ on Wednesday, according to „Telegraph“, received threats from the „Premier“ league regarding point deductions.

The Liverpool club, having violated a financial rule, still hopes to hear a positive decision from an independent commission. The situation is somewhat unknown at the moment.

In this case, „Liverpool“ legend James Carragher recalled the situation with „Manchester City.“ At the beginning of 2023, the „Citizens“ were charged with 115 various financial violations.

The „Premier“ league wants to deduct 12 points for one violation. If everything goes as it is now, then „Manchester City“ would play in the National League North (semi-professional league).
