Former Milano Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar revealed what then Real Madrid symbol Iker Casillas wrote to him in 2013 by phone Jose Mourinho.
J. Mourinho worked with both goalkeepers, but only had not the best relationship with I. Casillas. The coach had turned the Spaniard into a reserve goalkeeper for a while, and there were also rumors in the press about their disputes in the locker room.
During an interview, J. Cesar confirmed that J. Mourinho's anger towards I. Casillas was very high.
"In 2013, after the Confederations Cup final, when I went to receive the 'Golden Glove' award, I was wearing Casillas' gloves. In this way, I wanted to show him respect.
But then I received a message from Mourinho by phone, in which he wrote to me that it should be Casillas, not me, wearing my gloves and that I could defend more shots with one hand than he could with all his body parts," Julio Cesar told "SportTV" television in Brazil.
J. Mourinho was already out of a job at that time - he was fired from Real after the 2013 season.
