Despite the press reports linking him to a move to England, Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen reassured that this summer Manchester United will definitely not strengthen.
The Dutch national team member is named as the main candidate to replace David De Gea, whose future is still uncertain.
Nevertheless, the first three Premier League matches were started by Sergio Romero, who arrived for free to the Red Devils, which also suggests that there will be no search for strengthening the goalkeeper position.
"As far as I know, this (interest from Man United - Eurofootball) was never a real thing," Cillessen told NOS.
"Neither I, nor my club or agent heard anything about it. My season started and will end in Ajax."
This season the goalkeeper has already appeared in the matches of the Dutch club's marquee.
