Soon, the "Tottenham" academy will be supplemented by two well-known former football players. "Standart Sport" journalist Dan Kilpatrick reports that Jermain Defoe will start working as a coach at his former club's academy next month. The 39-year-old former striker has previously worked briefly as a coach in the "Rangers" coaching staff when Steven Gerrard had left the club. Former "Manchester City" defender Yaya Toure is also expected to start working at the "Tottenham" academy in the near future. The former leader of the DKK national team has had minimal coaching experience at "Olimpik" Donetsk and "Ahmat" Grozny. The "Tottenham" club has helped Y. Toure acquire all the necessary coaching qualifications over the past few months, working with youth teams.
