“Lyon” team as a free agent Jason Denayer is still without a club, but is nearing an agreement with the United Arab Emirates club “Al Ahli”.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano announces that the 27-year-old Belgian is flying to the UAE to sign a contract with the Dubai “Al Ahli” team.
The center-back wanted to find a club as soon as possible so as not to risk missing the World Cup due to poor form.
J. Denayer suffered from injuries last season, but scored 4 goals representing the “Lyon” team in the “Ligue 1” championship.
The Belgian played four seasons in the ranks of Lyon's team. Before that, the defender also played in Turkey, England, and Scotland.
