Former Uruguay national team coach Jorge Fossati believes that Edinson Cavani should move to "Manchester City" in the summer.
The sniper, who has been playing for "Paris Saint-Germain" for the third season, scored 17 goals in 39 matches, but most often plays not in a typical striker position.
With Pep Guardiola taking over the reins at the "Citizens", it is expected that new players will arrive with him to the team.
"Cavani needs to play as a midfielder," Fossati told the Qatari website Sc.qa.
"He plays on the wing or even sometimes in a safe role in PSG. This can be understood, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays in the striker position."
"Guardiola usually relies on two or three strikers, so I advise Cavani to join this team next season."
Rumors about the Uruguayan's departure from France are constantly circulating in the media. Last summer, London's "Arsenal" was interested in him.
