„Man City“ team once again remained without a prestigious trophy. After losing 0:1 in the Champions League final against London's „Chelsea“ club, the leader of the „City“ Josep Guardiola talked about the reasons for the defeat. „I did what I thought was best,“ said the Catalan about the selected players on the field. „Kevin De Bruyne got injured, but that can happen during a match. We needed help from every player. Now I plan to rest and prepare for the upcoming season. It was the first time we played at this stage of the competition and I hope we will be here again in the future. During the match there were 3-4 passes from the edge of the field, but they remained unfinished. I chose the best players. We had chances, we were incredible in the second half of the match, brave, yet we couldn't turn the created opportunities into goals. My players were incomparable and maybe one day we will return here again.“
