The president of Munich's "Bayern" club, Uli Hoeness, revealed that the future coach of the team, Josep Guardiola, wanted to see Brazilian star Neymar among his players.
However, "Bayern" decided to go against the coach's wishes and acquired Dortmund's "Borussia" player Mario Gotze.
This decision by the German club allowed "Barcelona" to easily reach an agreement with Neymar.
"J. Guardiola had ideas about acquiring the young Brazilian player, but in the past, our experience with players from Brazil was not very good," said U. Hoeness, who claimed that Guardiola still needed a player similar to Neymar, so the club decided to acquire M. Gotze.
M. Gotze arrived at "Bayern" for a sum of 37 million euros.
