J. Henderson can return to Europe from Saudi Arabia without earning a penny © „Reuters“

As the safe Jordan Henderson gets closer to his return to the Old Continent, English journalists have learned incredible information.

According to the "Telegraph", the 33-year-old player fell into his own trap.

Last summer, the veteran who signed a contract with the "Al Ettifaq" club requested that the Arabs not transfer his salary for the time being. This way, the footballer tried to carry out financial manipulation due to tax laws in his homeland.

This means that now, as J. Henderson approaches an agreement with Amsterdam's "Ajax", he may return to Europe with empty pockets.

In the Middle East, the player was supposed to receive at least 350,000 pounds sterling per week. Other sources claimed that J. Henderson was promised a weekly salary of up to 700,000 euros.
