England national team defender Jordan Henderson spoke about the short period of his career spent in the Saudi Arabian league.
At the beginning of this year, the 33-year-old player left the Middle Eastern country and signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Amsterdam "Ajax" team.
According to the footballer, he happily embraced these changes.
"Now football is in my blood again.
Yes, the Saudi Arabian league is developing and moving forward, but I don't care. I made a mistake going there.
Now I am happy to belong to the "Ajax" team," Henderson said.
In the Dutch championship, he managed to play 5 matches and provide 1 assist.
