Jordan Henderson's stint in Saudi Arabia could be coming to an end.
The 33-year-old Englishman, not fitting well in the Middle East, wants to return to the Premier League or at least to Europe, reports "The Times" journalist Paul Joyce.
In the summer, J. Henderson left the Liverpool team and signed a contract with the Al Ettifaq team. The value of the contract was huge, with a weekly salary of 700,000 euros according to various sources.
However, even such conditions couldn't keep the midfielder in Saudi Arabia. The Al Ettifaq team is not doing well, and coach Steven Gerrard is close to being sacked.
It is still unclear whether any European clubs will make an offer for J. Henderson.
