Former Bayern Munich's triumph collector Jupp Heynckes joked that Germany's national team goalkeeper Toni Kroos could think about ending his career, as he has already achieved what every football player dreams of.
The 27-year-old Real Madrid player is currently considered one of the best midfielders in the world along with Luka Modrić. Despite his relatively young age, T. Kroos has already won the UEFA Champions League three times and became a world champion with the German national team.
J. Heynckes admitted in an interview that he is very impressed with this player, who is a dream for any coach.
"Toni is only 27 and he has already won the Champions League three times, treble with Bayern, and became a world champion with the German national team. He should think about retiring...," the former coach joked.
"Toni is a strategist. In Madrid, he became an even better player. He plays the way every coach would want their player to play," added J. Heynckes.
However, T. Kroos himself has not really thought about retiring and is hungry for new victories: "I can't retire because I've won almost everything (smiling). There are always new goals with the club and national team, and I want to win everything with them."
Last season, T. Kroos scored four goals and made 17 assists in 48 appearances for Real Madrid.
