Former London "Tottenham" defender Jermaine Jenas claims that London "Arsenal" would be a stronger team if Oliver Giroud were in the lineup.
The "Gunners" acquired forward Lucas Perez in the summer, but neither he nor Giroud managed to break into the starting lineup. Alexis Sanchez confidently plays in the midfield striker position, and it seems that Arsene Wenger does not plan to make any changes in the near future.
"I still believe that Arsenal would be a better team with Giroud," Jenas said on the BBC show. "Right now Arsenal plays with Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi, and Alexis, but I have no doubt that three of them would perform even better if Giroud were in the center of their attack."
Jenas also added that Arsenal should pay more attention to physical preparation, as injuries could jeopardize their goal for this season - winning the English Premier League.
Arsenal, along with Manchester City and Liverpool, is at the top of the English Premier League. The Gunners also cannot complain about goals - they have already scored 19 this season.
