Joshua Kimmichas is sidelined due to COVID-19 complications until next year, officially announced by Munich's "Bayern" club on Thursday afternoon. The 26-year-old versatile German tested positive for coronavirus a few weeks ago. His self-isolation period has already ended, but "Bayern" defender cannot return to the field yet. J. Kimmich officially commented: "I am glad that my self-isolation caused by coronavirus has ended. I feel good, but I cannot train at full strength due to a minor infiltration in my lungs. As a result, I will have rehabilitation sessions and I am looking forward to returning to full training in January," said the "Bayern" player. At the beginning of the global pandemic, J. Kimmich led a special campaign against COVID-19, but later refused to get vaccinated and contracted the virus at the end of November.
