Joshua Kimmich believes that the leaders of Munich's "Bayern" should pay attention to the team composition.
At the moment, "Bayern" has lost quite a few important players due to injuries. They tested their strength in a friendly match with the "Nurnberg" team on Saturday and suffered a painful defeat - a result of 2:5.
This defeat did not surprise J. Kimmich too much, as he himself admitted that the team lacks players.
"Now we have 12 or 13 professional players at the training center - all others are academy graduates," the German said.
"The table where young players eat is overloaded. This was not visible in the first years when I arrived at the club. There is a good chance that by the end of the season we will compete in three tournaments, so we need foreign players to have more players ready to play.
Now we have quite a few losses - Lewandowski and Coman are close to returning, but Gnabry and Martinez cannot train, and Sule and Hernandez need a lot of time.
The club is well aware of the situation. At the moment, our composition is too short," added J. Kimmich.
