Former Tottenham striker Jurgen Klinsmann believes that Christian Eriksen is an exceptional talent and hopes that the midfielder will represent the "Spurs" for a long time.
Klinsmann will face Eriksen on opposite sides on Wednesday, as he coaches the U.S. national team in a friendly match against Denmark.
"There is no bigger club than Tottenham," Klinsmann joked when asked if Eriksen could move to a bigger club in the future. "Every player chooses their own path and sets limits. I'm sure he has them too and knows where he wants to play."
"For me personally, playing for Tottenham was an amazing experience and I am joyful for every second spent there. I moved to Bayern because I wanted to win trophies."
"I hope he will represent Spurs for a long time. The team composition is very competitive, so he can't relax because someone else could take his place. It will be interesting to see him wearing the Tottenham jersey in the future."
"He is an exceptional talent and that's why he is in the club. He managed to prove it this season with some goals and his influence on the team's game."
